In getting to know our street neighbors, conversations reveal that many who reside in the streets, under bridges and in the woods are employed or have a source of income, but due the the high cost of housing in the area are not able to secure housing.

While we are working in unison with the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter where Pastor Arnie is currently the manager to find sustainable solutions, in partnership with Pastors Bob & Linda Rapp, we hold an event called "Stand Up Bethlehem". This event held on the second Saturday bi-monthly takes place at Christ UCC Church in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, and our street neighbors are provided a warm meal, clothing, hygiene products, health checks, haircuts, and spiritual support.

It is our long term goal to fight for our street neighbors until each and every person is recognized as a valued member of our community, regardless of race, religion, or economic status.
COVID - 19 Update

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Stand Up Bethlehem events have been temporarily placed on hold. However, in order to continue to serve our street neighbors, in partnership with the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter, we provide bag lunches on the third Sunday of each month at Christ Church located at 75 E. Market St., Bethlehem, PA from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

We have also become cognizant that the longer the pandemic lingers, the larger the financial impact it has on families. As a result, we have started to assist families in need. If you are in need or know of a family in need please contact us at 484-294-6436 or info@alwaysonmission.org. Complete discretion will be implemented so please do not hesitate to contact us.
